You can submit art from your own gallery OR from someone else's - it goes to them for approval! Submissions are limited to two per week per member.
When submitting art please ensure it is one of the following:
Canon Character Drawings & Paintings [link]
Art in any 2D medium (including 3D renders) featuring characters from any one of the Star Trek series or films. Your Trek Original Characters belong in their own gallery!
Trek OC Drawings & Paintings [link]
Art in any 2D medium (including 3D renders) that includes original characters in a Star Trek related setting.
Ships, Technology & Scenery Fan Art [link]
Fan art and design of the 'non-biological' characters of the series - ships, technology (computers, weapons, etc), as well as scenery of Trek worlds. General space/sci-fi art not directly linked to the Trek Universe has its own gallery.
Crafts & Sculpture [link]
Textiles, needlework, jewelry, dolls and plushies, sculpture and any other physical 3D creations (NOT 3D rendered graphics!) related to or inspired by the Trek universe are submitted in this category.
Cosplay [link]
Costumes you have made, or just you or your friends dressed up in Trek regalia!
Writings [link]
Writing submitted must be set in the Trek universe (ie feature the Federation or the canon cultures such as Vulcan, Klingon etc) but may contain any mix of your original and canon characters.
General Space & Sci-Fi Art [link]
This could include general space art or sci-fi art (not related to another fandom) that may be relevant to the interests of Trekkies!
Usable Graphics [link]
This is the place to submit graphics that can be used by other Deviants like Icons, Stamps, Wallpapers, Interfaces, etc. We do expect a certain level of creativity/design for submissions to this section. We may refuse your submission if it uses copyrighted material with very little manipulation.
Trek Humour [link]
This section is for humourous drawings, paintings, hand-drawn memes, comics etc. Content must be original, and we do NOT accept work such as motivational posters/manips that use copyrighted images, as these do not comply with DeviantArt's submission policy and are better suited to other sites, such as LiveJournal and the chzburger network
Competitions & Specials [link]
This gallery will have sub-folders to submit entries to current competitions and special events and archive entries from past events.
If you are unsure, please ask. We will now be refusing any content that is submitted to 'Character Drawings & Paintings' where it is clear that no attempt has been made to place it correctly. You are welcome to resubmit to the correct category.
The favourites section is disabled. We see no purpose for it when art can be submitted directly to the gallery!
